Sneaky Bastard

I’m late in blogging about this tidbit, but I only just heard about it from a podcast. The short of it is that the American Family Association’s site OneNewsNow does a search-and-replace on the word “gay” for “homosexual.” There is an olympic hopeful with the last name Gay. Hilarity ensues.

It appears that
Right Wing Watch was the first to report the gaff. I’m also linking to an article by

I’ve posted ranted before about my hatred of junk mail. While watching an episode of Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, I opened up a stack of them that had been piling up. I didn’t put anything inside the envelopes (such as coffee grounds or used dental floss) this time. I wasn’t feeling that energetic. I sure hope the USPS appreciates the postage. Why, it must be a couple dollars by now! Heh.
